After studying massage
in Salt Lake City for a year, I ventured to The Lowcountry to visit one of my brothers. The moment I saw the sunset over the marsh, I knew I was home. I packed up a truck and headed to Charleston in 2005. I began working at a downtown spa almost immediately and loved treating clients from athletes with injuries to those in need of a relaxing massage. After one year, my interest in skin
care piqued when I began to have issues with my own skin. I studied at Trident Technical College in 2007 and became licensed by the end of the year.
Skin Help Studio opened in 2012 and I have treated many skin
types and conditions, from acne and sensitive skin
to those with concerns of aging with sun spots and wrinkles. My goal is to help alleviate these issues with quality products and the knowledge of how to care for these issues with gentle but effective treatments. I love getting to know my Mount Pleasant and Charleston neighbors by helping them learn about prevention, protection and reducing inflammation. And as a mother, I understand the time constrains for some. I keep my home care regimen simple but effective.
I am committed to my own continued education of products, techniques and the latest peels. I attend conferences annually from our local Carolinas to regional conferences across the United States. As part of my experience, I’ve been honored to treat to the Olympic speed skating team in 2005 with sports massage
pre and post event.
Rhonda Allison Skin
Care is my favorite product line because they use only pure, fresh, natural, quality-driven ingredients that deliver results with no dyes, artificial coloring, or artificial fragrances – essential oils and the scent of the plant extracts are the aroma of the product. All preservatives are essential oils, plant derived, or safe FDA approved ingredients.
